Dr. Shula Recanati

E4E Chairperson; Board Member, The Academic College of Tel Aviv-Yaffo; Former Partner and Investment Manager, GlenRock Israel

Since 2003, Dr. Shula Recanati has served as the Chairperson of Educating for Excellence (E4E), an Israeli NGO. E4E’S mission is to strengthen Israeli society by reducing socio-economic gaps, promoting social mobility, and creating equal opportunity for children with potential for excellence from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Shula previously was a Managing Partner and Head of Organizational Development at GlenRock Israel (2003-2021), a venture capital firm focused on investments in life sciences and advanced technology. She has many years of experience working as an organizational and management development expert, specializing in high-tech and startups.

Shula holds a PhD in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University, a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Tel Aviv University (Magna Cum Laude), and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Education from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (Cum Laude). She is a Trustee at the Academic College of Tel-Aviv Yaffo and a former member of the Board of Directors of Taub Center for Social Policy Studies in Israel.

Barak Regev

Managing Director, Google Israel

Barak Regev is Managing Director of Google Israel. He also serves as a member of the Google EMEA Emerging Markets management team and is active in the advisory board of a few startups, including serving as a board member in AudioTube.  He is involved in a few nonprofit organizations and serves as an active board member in Educating for Excellence.
Barak holds an MBA from California State Northridge as well as a BA (summa cum laude).

Prof. Dafna Schwartz

Head, Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Peres Academic Center

Prof. Dafna Schwartz is an economist. a former faculty member at the Adelson School of Entrepreneurship and the Director of the Research Authority and Responsible for the Implementation and Monitoring of Intellectual Property at Reichman University (IDC).

Her specialization areas include: Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Innovation Financing, start-ups, SME’s, and Regional & Local Economic Development.

 

Prof. Schwartz has authored 2 books, co edited three books, and published 51 papers in peer reviewed journals, 28 chapters in edited books and numerous scientific and technical reports.

Aharon Aharon

C-perto Founder; Former CEO of Israel Innovation Authority; Former Apple Israel General Manager

Aharon Aharon is a key figure in the global technology industry. He was the first CEO of the Innovation Authority (formerly the “Chief Scientist’s Office”) and was responsible, among other things, for the links between academia and industry for the benefit of the growth of the Israeli economy.

Prior to his position at the IIA, he worked in a variety of senior management positions at a number of different companies, the most recent of which was Apple, as the first CEO of Apple Israel and Vice President of Hardware Technologies at Apple Global.

Today he is active in a consulting company he founded, C-Perto.

Aharon holds a B.Sc and M.Sc degree in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering, respectively from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, where he lectured for over 15 years.

Hagit Behar, Adv.

Board Member, Sheatum, Zionism 2000

A lawyer by profession, in recent years Hagit has voluntarily participated in the management of several nonprofit organizations (Zionism 2000, Sheatufim, association for children at risk) and served as a consultant to companies regarding voluntary contributions to the community.

Hagit holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the Hebrew university and a master’s degree in philosophy from Tel Aviv University.

 

Irit Reisman

Chairperson and Founder, Tofsim Kivun (Finding Direction)

The founder and chairperson of the Tofsim Kivun program, Irit Reisman, is an entrepreneur involved in various activities in the non-profit sector. She previously served as the director of the philanthropic foundation Peamey Tikva and as the organization and human resources manager at Azimuth Technologies LTD a publicly traded international technology company beforehand for many years.

Sharona Tamir

Lawyer and mediator

Advocate and mediator

Expert in corporate law, management of boards of directors and in the management of secretaries of public and private companies and corporate regulation; Expert in real estate law and construction management projects; Volunteers in community activities.

Holds an LLC degree in law from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and has been a lawyer since 1980.

Certificate studies in legal mediation on behalf of the Israeli Bar Association;

Holds a B.A degree in Literature from the Open University and a diploma in Bibliotherapy from Tel Aviv University.

Noa Ben-Arie

Director, Head of Human Capital Consulting, Deloitte IL

A consultant and project manager with over 30 years of experience in the field of managerial and organizational consulting.

Throughout her consulting career, she has worked with key clients in the industrial, financial, and high-tech sectors, government ministries, healthcare organizations, kibbutz enterprises, family businesses, and more.

In her most recent position, she led the consulting practice in the field of human capital at the global consulting firm Deloitte.

Today, she provides consulting in significant organizational transformation processes and generational transitions in family businesses, and she also practices psychotherapy.

Uri Levin

  1. Uri Levin has served as CEO of the Tidhar Group since July 2023 .Uri served as CEO of Israel Discount Bank from 2019 to 2023, and from 2017, he served as CEO, Israel Discount Bank of New York. Prior to that position, he served as head of the strategy, planning and finance division at Israel Discount Bank, from 2014 to 2017. Before joining the Discount Group, Uri served as CEO of the ISP Group in Israel and in Switzerland. The company specializes in financial services for private and institutional clients. He held prior senior management positions at Bank Hapoalim, after serving as senior consultant and project manager at the international consulting company, McKinsey & Company, London. Uri has an M.B.A (cum laude) from the London Business School, with a specialization in finance, and a B.Sc. (cum laude) in electrical engineering, electronics, and computer science from Tel Aviv University. Uri is married to Ifat, and they have two children. Among his other activities, Uri enjoys traveling and sports.

Yair Hamburger

Chairman, Harel Insurance Investments and Financial Services Ltd

In 1975 Mr. Hamburger established “Harel Insurance Company Ltd.” and served as its CEO for over 20 years. Yair serves as Chairman of Harel Insurance and served as Chairman of Harel Insurance and Finance Group for more than 20 years.
Yair also serves as Chairman of the board of the Israeli Insurance Association and the Association of Life Insurance Companies.
He, serves as a member of various non- profit organizations and associations focused on community improvement.
Yair was born in Israel,1946. He is married with five children and 16 grandchildren.

Brig. General (ret.) Giora Inbar is an active entrepreneur and an experienced business executive with vast leadership experience from leading infrastructure, energy, retail and industrial companies who has managed large scale companies and led hundreds of employees.Giora Inbar has co-founded and managed Kaman Holdings, a group consisting of 30 industrial, trade and infrastructure companies.In his role as CEO of Kaman Water, a Kaman Holdings mother company of Mendelson Ltd, Giora has managed eight companies dealing with trade and operation of water, energy and infrastructure, both locally and globally, handling the dynamic challenges of this industry and leading a new, innovative approach.Giora Inbar is the owner and the CEO of Oaky Denish a strategic consultancy specializes in energy and infrastructure projects.

Ronen Nir

Ronen Nir is a Managing Director at PSG Equity and heads its Israeli office.

Previously, General Partner at Viola Ventures from 2008 to 2021 focusing on early stage technology investments. Prior to Viola, Ronen held several positions in the Israeli tech industry, the latest one being VP Product Management in Verint Systems (NASDAQ:VRNT).

Ronen serves on the board of directors of the Aaron Institute for Economics Studies at Reichman University (formerly IDC) in Herzlia, Israel. He is an adjunct lecturer at the Tel Aviv University MBA program and a member of the Israeli Government National Tech Talent Committee.

From 1989-2002 Ronen served in an elite Israeli Defense Forces’ Intelligence Unit (8200) and holds a rank of Lieutenant Colonel (Res.). He received a B.A., cum laude, in Economics and Middle East History from Tel Aviv University and an M.Sc. in Technology Management from the University of Maryland University College (UMUC).

Nimrod Dotan

Nimrod Dotan holds a BA in Political Science and a Masters in Systemic Organizational Development from the University of Haifa. Nimrod previously worked in a variety of management and training positions with the Israel Scouts movement. In his final role with the Scouts, he managed the national training array and was a HR project manager. After leaving the Scouts, he managed HR projects in the business sector.

In 2012, Nimrod joined Educating for Excellence (E4E). For six years, he served as Deputy Director of Education and then for two years as Deputy Director General, where he was responsible for managing all educational activities in our organization as well as the work at our organization’s headquarters. Nimrod is a Maoz Network member and completed a program for senior management in the educational system through Maoz & Harvard Business School. Nimrod also serves with the IDF Reserves as a Chief Engineering Officer in the Northern Command, holding the rank of  colonel in the Engineering Corps Combat Unit.

Hana Dorsman

She graduated with a BA in social work from Bar Ilan University, and an MA in social work from Tel Aviv University, and graduated from Mendel School for Educational Leadership.
Has over twenty years of experience in managing, leading and developing social organizations.
For about nine years she served as the CEO of the association ‘Education for the Peaks’ and before that she managed the unit for social engagement at Tel Aviv University.
