About Educating for Excellence

A continuum of educational programs from age 8 to 28

Educating for Excellence invests in the next generation to create a healthy and sustainable future for Israel.

Our people, more than anything, determine our future. With scarce natural resources, Israel is a world leader in areas that rely on human capital, such as innovation, hi-tech, research and development. Investing in our youth is the best way to guarantee that Israel continues to prosper.

E4E invests and focuses on the 1,000,000 children currently living in poverty without the means to realize their potential. From ages 8 to 28 we help them channel their talents, and become involved and engaged citizens in Israeli society.

When E4E supports a child, we engage with their families, schools, and communities, which grow and develop in turn. This approach impacts the lives of people within their circles, and further strengthens the environment around each child in an ongoing cycle of mutual, positive reinforcement

We consistently use data to measure our impact and to refine our model. Based on two decades of data, E4E graduates- are significantly more likely to pursue higher education compared to their similarly disadvantaged peers (76% vs. 19%).  Seventy seven percent of our employment program graduates successfully find work in their field. These numbers represent the lives of children and communities transformed from a trajectory of risk and need to one of promise and achievement.

Data compiled over two decades indicates that our evidence-based approach strategically increases our reach.

Only by strengthening and prioritizing education and community outreach will we continue to grow a stronger workforce, and have a healthy and sustainable future in Israel.
