Educating for Excellence has a very active and involved Board of Directors, headed by Dr. Shula Recanati.
The executive committee consists of senior officials from the world of education, society and business, who volunteered to the task.

Educating for Excellence – Chairperson, GlenRock – Partner and Investment Manager
For over two decades, Dr. Shula Recanati has been serving as chairperson of Educating for Excellence. Concurrently she is a managing partner and leader of the organizational development array at GlenRock Israel, which was established in 2003 and specializes in venture capital investments relating to life sciences, technology and advanced technology ventures.
Shula is a clinical and organizational psychologist, holding a Ph.D. from Columbia University in New York (1982), a graduate degree in Clinical Psychology from Tel Aviv University (1976) and an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Education from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem (1974).
Her professional path consists of several milestones:
1982-1987 Senior organizational consultant at Citibank New York, where she was involved in international strategic projects.
1987-2000 Self-employed organizational consultant, working to improve the performance and effectiveness of organizations and companies in Israel and around the world, while focusing on matters, such as organizational diagnosis, organizational culture, change processes, mergers and acquisition, team building and more.
2000-2003 Managed the organizational development array at the Pitango Venture Capital Fund, responsible for establishing the managerial and organization infrastructure within the portfolio companies.
Shula Recanati joined GlenRock as a managing partner immediately upon its establishment.
Shula has been serving on the board of trustees at the Academic College of Tel-Aviv Yaffo, and the BOD of the Taub Center for Social Policy Studies in Israel.
